These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Trade Journal (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Trade Journal is a trading journal that lets you record and analyze your trades, including by sending screenshots to our Telegram bot, which are processed by an AI model to extract trade details. The Service is provided for informational and record-keeping purposes only.
Trade Journal does not provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Nothing in the Service is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. Trading carries substantial risk of loss. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and outcomes.
Trade details extracted by AI from screenshots may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting your data. We make no warranty as to the accuracy of AI-generated extractions, calculations or summaries.
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
The Service offers a free tier and a paid "Pro" subscription billed through our payment provider. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Plan features and prices may change with notice.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: abusing AI capture limits or automated access, uploading unlawful content, attempting to breach security, or reselling the Service without permission. We may rate-limit, suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You retain ownership of the trades, notes and screenshots you upload. You grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely to operate and provide the Service (including sending images to our AI provider for extraction).
The Service relies on third parties including Supabase (data & storage), OpenRouter (AI), Telegram (bot) and our payment provider. Your use may be subject to their terms.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trade Journal and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any trading losses, lost profits or data loss arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
You may stop using and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to comply with law.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
