This Privacy Policy explains what Trade Journal collects, how we use it, and your choices. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
Account data: your email address and authentication details.
Trade data: the trades, prices, notes, tags, emotions and screenshots you submit.
Telegram link: your Telegram chat ID and username when you connect the bot.
Billing data: subscription status and identifiers from our payment provider (we do not store your full card details).
Usage data: basic logs and AI-capture counts to operate the Service and enforce plan limits.
To provide and maintain the Service; to extract trade details from your screenshots via AI; to compute your analytics; to manage subscriptions and enforce plan limits; to communicate with you about your account; and to secure and improve the Service.
We use trusted processors to run the Service: Supabase (database, authentication and encrypted file storage), OpenRouter and its underlying model provider (to extract trade details from the screenshots you submit), Telegram (bot messaging), and our payment provider (billing). Screenshots are sent to the AI provider only to perform extraction. We do not sell your personal data.
Your trades and screenshots are stored in your own isolated account, protected by row-level security so other users cannot access them. Screenshots are kept in a private bucket and served via short-lived signed links. No method of storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your trades, screenshots and settings are deleted. Some records may be retained where required by law.
You can access and edit your data in the app, export your trades, and delete your account at any time from Settings. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights to access, correct or erase your personal data.
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18.
We may update this policy; material changes will be communicated in the app or via email.
For privacy questions or data requests, contact the support email listed in the app.
